Cantina Oliena 'Corrasi' Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva is an utterly rewarding, full-bodied wine experience. Cannonau is famously warming due to its high alcohol content and subtle spiciness. On the nose there are rich, complex constantly evolving flavours. It has the gentle aroma of summer red fruits that are followed by sweet vanilla and clove and an intriguing woodiness. In the mouth, it is rich and full. Despite the high alcohol content and full body, it's fresh, with pleasant velvety tannins. A wine that keeps on giving! Delicious with a roast or strong cheeses.
