Château le Manoir Cuvée les Graves Lalande-de-Pomerol 2022

This lovely Lalande-de-Pomerol from Chateau le Manoir is a rich and deep wine with delightful red cherry and redcurrant aromas with a touch of blossom and vanilla. On the palate, there's more ripe fruit, with blackberry and blueberry coming through. Overall the wine is well-balanced with a long finish, and smooth tannins. A great accompaniment to steak.

This property is owned by Jean Claude Giraud who was cellar master at Eglise Clinet in Pomerol for 20 years before returning to take over his family’s vineyards. The small 1.5 hectare plot and its limestone clay soils allow the Merlot to ripen perfectly, giving the wines body and finesse.
