A rich and expressive Malbec that opens with scents of violet, dark plum and wild herbs. On the palate, juicy red and black fruits—blackberry, cherry—meld with spice, a touch of liquorice and subtle mineral notes. The tannins are fine-grained and the finish is polished, elegant, and long.
El Enemigo Malbec feels like a bold but thoughtful statement — fruit-driven yet grounded in its rugged, high-altitude Mendoza terroir. The grapes come from vineyards perched nearly 1,500 metres up in the foothills of the Andes, planted on calcareous, rocky soils that give the wine its tension and minerality.
When you taste it, there’s an energetic lift: blackberries, plums, a whisper of floral violet, and a subtle herbaceous layer. On the palate it’s silky yet structured, supported by refined tannins, then finishes with a savoury, mineral-tinged echo that lingers. It’s a Malbec that balances power and poise — great to sip now but also rewarding with a little bottle age.
